Living Planet Symposium 2016

ESA's Earth Observation conference - the Living Planet Symposium - is to be held from 9 - 13 May 2016 in Prague, Czech Republic. It will provide an opportunity to discuss the progress made in all branches of Earth observation and present the relevance of ESA's EO Programme to societal challenges, science and economy.

The key themes of the conference will be: Atmosphere, Oceanography, Cryosphere, Land, Hazards, Climate and Meteorology,  Solid Earth/Geodesy, Near-Earth Environment, Methodologies and Products, Open Science 2.0.

Key dates:

Deadline for abstract submission: 16 October 2015
Notification of acceptances: end January 2016
Issue of preliminary programme: Feburary 2016
Opening of registration to the Symposium: February 2016
Release of final programme and submission of full papers: at the symposium
